History

The House of Bruar is a prestigious independent country-clothing store, with a broad spectrum of high quality clothes and accessories including Scottish knitwear, and is known as the “Harrods of the Highlands”. The company was founded by Mark & Linda Birbeck in the 1990’s and was sold in 2012 to Mark Birbeck & Sons Ltd, with the new owner Patrick Birkbeck, the son of the founders, as Managing Director.
