Bramble Gin

The House of Bruar, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland, UK.

The House Of Bruar

The House of Bruar is a prestigious independent country-clothing store, with a broad spectrum of high quality clothes and accessories including Scottish knitwear, and is known as the “Harrods of the Highlands”. The company was founded by Mark & Linda Birbeck in the 1990’s and was sold in 2012 to Mark Birbeck & Sons Ltd, with the new owner Patrick Birkbeck, the son of the founders, as Managing Director.

The locally sourced and hand picked blackberries are infused with an undisclosed London Dry Gin, made to a personalized recipe. It is made and bottled locally and we suspect (although not confirmed) this is by the Scottish Liqueur Centre, also based in Perthshire.

The red colored Gin is presented in a round clear glass bottle with some unusual features: a soft square foot with a lip, slightly tapering from the bottom (thinner) to the shoulders (wider), the shoulders are curved with a slightly bulbous neck. The bottle sports an off white rectangular label with navy blue and gold colored text plus an image of several blackberries.
